Finding useful resources online can be an overwhelming task with the abundance of information out there.

To give you a hand, we’ve sifted out some of the best free and paid resources for you to check out and download. 

 

TeacherToolkit - 5 Minute Plan

The Teacher Toolkit has released the 5 Minute Paper and Digital Lesson Plan. Updated in 2019, these resources were designed to speed up the process of lesson planning and has now been cited as best practice for reducing teacher workload by the Department for Education.

 

BBC Teach

The BBC has thousands of free curriculum mapped video resources, all arranged by age group and subject. These are easy to use resources that work well in class or online. 

 

Place2Be - Mental Health Resources for Schools

Place2be is committed to supporting children and their mental health. They have developed several mental health resources that you can download and utilise, which can help make a real difference to the emotional wellbeing of pupils.

 

Jisc - FE Learning and Research Resources

Jisc has created a series of learning and research resources that support teachers and students. Their engaging digital resources and activities are specifically designed for the FE sector, covering: Construction, Education, Childcare, and Health and Social to name just a few.

 

Pearson School and Colleges - Digital learning materials 

Pearson to find a range of digital learning materials aimed towards FE and Vocational subjects. The materials cover subjects such as Construction, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, and many more. Teaching Resources provided include editable PowerPoints and worksheets, but to come at a price, however, you will have the option to try before you buy.
